Meet the Himels

Daddy- Bart, Little Sister- Avery, Gabrielle, Mama- Selena

Bart is originally from Saint Amant, La where he graduated from Saint Amant High School in 2000. After graduating high school he attended Louisiana State University before deciding he preferred working in utility maintenance. He is currently employed by Baton Rouge Water Company. In his spare time he enjoys cooking in jambalaya competition cook-offs and playing poker. He is a massive LSU Tiger fan and watches or attendes as many games as possible throughout the year.

Selena is originally from Farmerville, La and attended Ruston High School and graduated in 1999. In Ruston she attended Louisiana Tech University. She was also employed at Corner Drug Store which introduced her to her future career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She is currently employed at The Wellness Corner a specialty compounding pharmacy in Prairieville, La. In her spare time she enjoys going out with friends and listening to live music. She has also developed a love for the LSU Tigers and enjoys tailgating with family and friends.

Bart and Selena were introduced by a mutual friend in December of 2000. They hit it off immediately and have been together ever since. In September of 2003 they were married and resided in Ruston until 2006 and then moved to Bart's home of Saint Amant, La. That is were they still reside today.

Gabrielle Parker Himel was a blessing to our family in March 2010. She is a constant source of love and entertainment to our family. She has taught Bart and Selena so many things about life and all it has to offer.

Avery Grace Himel is the final addition to the Himel family. She was born March 2013. We see Gabrielle's spirit in her everyday!
